Very often the small things make all the difference. Does your partner ever make a kind comment, leave you a note of encouragement or love (or do you)? If we can do small things consistently, we stand a much better chance of being successful.
What are the odds that someone who makes regular kindness a habit will do something big that loses trust or creates sadness or disappointment? What are the odds that if they do make a mistake that they are going to be forgiven quickly because of the accumulated trust?
